The meter is honest

Only accepted sends are metered. Suppressed storms, deduplicated repeats, and rejected ingest attempts cost nothing. The same event log you use for alerts is the record your statement is built from — metering runs from day one.

Prepaid SMS and voice, not a surprise invoice

Email stays free within each tier's allowance. Pro SMS and voice overage each draw down the same prepaid wallet (included allowance first, then wallet, then fail closed — the page still emails). Wallet top-ups are net-credit: you choose an all-in load amount; processing is baked into the credit, never added on top as a surcharge.
